Sleep? What's that?

It is a lot of hard work making sure Mommy and Daddy never get more than a couple hours of sleep a night. After nine straight months of really long, intense hours of keeping them up I find myself starting to feel exhausted. As a result I have been falling asleep in some pretty unusual places. Just the other day I fell asleep during dinner!


Then today I fell asleep while Mommy was swinging me at the park.


But of all the places I fall asleep, this is by far the best:

Sometimes I get a little messy when I eat...


But I' growing so fast I get to take "big boy" baths now. See how much I've grown?


This weekend we went hiking around my Mama Margie and Papa Dean's house. I got carried around on Daddy's back again. This is one of Mommy's favorite shots from the day (even though she knows Daddy will probably be mad at her for putting it up here!)


Jax found a stick to play with while we were hiking. Of course when you're a pit bull the term"stick" means something a little different than to most of us.


Back at the house Mommy continued my feminist upbringing by teaching me all about pots, pans and cooking.

Sand! ... And Water!

I discovered something very fun this weekend, SAND!


There was also some water to splash around in.


But mostly I liked crawling around in the sand.


Here I am spending some great time with Sissy and Daddy. Another perfect weekend is complete!

Saturday Night's Alright

I really like to make funny and cute faces to make people laugh. Here is my newest one, what to do you think? Does it make you giggle?


It was too cold in the water on Saturday for babies, so I sat on the deck watching Sissy splash and entertaining those around me. I've been told I look more like a little man than a baby, is it true?


Then I went inside to spend some time with a couple new girlfriends. Here is Sadie, she thinks I am so cute she had to pinch my cheek!


This is the life, surrounded by beautiful girls!


This is June, Henry's baby sister. Delia and Henry had an emotional breakup last year so they were all weird around each other, but June and I hit it off really well. See me mauling her face? Babies like that.

Hiking...baby style

The cool thing about hiking when you are only 7 months old is that someone else does all of the work!

Who could pass up the chance to be so close to someone so cute?


A little time to relax and enjoy the feel of the grass under my...well bum.

I've been busy growing and having all kinds of new experiences. Like swimming. It's pretty fun, assuming the water isn't too cold of course!


It is fun to splash in the water. Well, fun until the water comes back up and hits you in the face.

I think my sister is right, summer time is fun!!
